How in-person lessons work
In class you practise speaking, listening, reading and writing. The teacher explains the material, helps you apply it in exercises and goes over mistakes. Conversation lessons add communication practice, and private lessons focus on your own tasks. Outside the classroom, the school’s activities keep the language practice going.

Fun and effective Spanish lessons
The Taronja school really impressed me. Our group was well put together, and the teachers (Núria and Carol) were wonderful. The balance between learning and fun was excellent. The lessons were challenging, and everyone was encouraged to make a meaningful contribution. We were only there for four days, as it was a public holiday, but I would happily come back and stay longer.

The most interesting and most family-friendly school
I was only here for a week, but it was the best time of my life! The Spanish lessons are genuinely engaging, and you also learn a lot, even in a single week. We played games to learn words, grammar and pronunciation. My two teachers (Carol and Pablo) were very sweet and funny. The school also offers lots of activities, and taking part costs practically nothing, so you can make friends very quickly. The school itself is located right in the city centre, so it is a really great spot. At this school you feel like part of one family.

Very worthwhile
It had been 50 years since I last went to “school”, and I enrolled at the Taronja school with great excitement. I imagined I would be the oldest among the youngsters in the class, but although I was indeed the oldest there, I found we were a good cross-section of all age groups. When I look back on the week spent at the Taronja school and on how much I learned, I am greatly impressed and would love to go there again. To anyone thinking of enrolling at the Taronja school: just do it!
